Who are we?

We are a language exchange/conversation club (unofficial) that meets in Sommières, France once per month at a local café or restaurant, to chat and drink wine together. There are no dues or fees, just the cost of whatever you drink. New members are always welcome!

Our meetings last about 90 minutes, and we speak in English and French, in 15-minute intervals, first in one language and then in the other. This way, you have the opportunity to be both student and teacher several times during the evening. There are both native English and native French speakers present at every meeting, and we also have had people who speak many other languages come to our meetings, but we use only English and French during the 90-minute session.

You can find our meeting schedule here on this site, but we try to stick to the last Wednesday of the month at 19h00 to make it easier to remember. Previously, we held meetings on the last Monday of the month, but that changed as of November 2015. Several members stay for dinner after the meeting, so if you wish to join those of us who do that, that would be great. See you soon!
